Bandit also offers two aggressive cutterwheel options; the Bandit Wheel with Greenteeth and the New Revolution Wheel with Hex Teeth.
High Torque Cutterwheels
When deciding your choice of cutterwheels, you can pick from the Standard Bandit Wheel with Greenteeth, or their New Revolution wheel with Hex teeth, each having different work site benefits.
The Bandit Wheel with Greenteeth, sized at 18” in diameter x ½” thick Bandit Cutterwheel with 8 Greenteeth – Bandit’s Greenteeth is best applied for sandy soil conditions. Due to this wheel having fewer teeth, the Greenteeth option is more economical to maintain.
Additionally, the 900 series Greenteeth on the SG-40 features two usable edges, meaning before you discard your blade, the tooth can be rotated once it’s worn down past 1/16” on the carbide tip.
The New Revolution Wheel with Hex Teeth – 18” diameter x ½” thick New Revolution Cutterwheel with 24 hex teeth – The New Revolution wheel, with its notable “hex teeth”, is best suited for rock and soil conditions. Since this wheel is built with more teeth, it allows for an aggressive yet smooth cutting action. Also, due to its wheel design, grinding tends to deflect underneath the machine, reducing clean-up time.
SG-40 Stump Grinders
Bandit’s SG-40 stump grinders are efficiently compact, yet pack a powerful punch, giving you the ability to tackle a diverse range of stumps. The SG-40 comes with either a rubber tire or track and comes equipped with a Kohler 38-horsepower EFI gas engine. Additionally, no matter what angle or slope, an adjustable swing-out console allows for three operating positions, providing maximum visibility of the stump.
