Operator Training Programs

Our operator training programs are designed to equip your team with both the practical skills and technical knowledge needed to operate and maintain equipment safely, efficiently, and with confidence.

Each course is delivered from an operator’s perspective, with a strong emphasis on proper procedures, preventative maintenance, and jobsite safety.

Vactor Equipment Training

This training covers safe operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of Vactor 2100 Plus and Classic Series fan and PD units. Operators will learn key functions including water pumps, vacuum systems, boom operation, nozzle selection and usage,proper manhole setup, dumping procedures, and accessory use. The course also includes pre-trip inspections, winterization practices, and a foundational overview of mechanical systems.

Elgin Sweeper Training

Focused on both mechanical and regenerative air sweepers, this program provides a comprehensive understanding of daily operation and ongoing maintenance. Key topics include basic sweeper operation, daily and weekly cleaning routines, preventative maintenance practices, and 150- and 500-hour service intervals. The training emphasizes efficiency, equipment longevity, and safe operation.

Hydro Excavation (HXX) Training

This course covers the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydro excavation equipment. Operators will gain experience with water nozzles, water pumps,vacuum systems, boom operation, and proper vehicle setup. Additional topics include dumping procedures, accessory usage, winterization, and pre-trip inspections. A high- level overview of mechanical systems is also included, with a continued focus on safety and best practices.
