ISC MH285 Reflex Mechanical Hitch, Anodized, For Use With: 11 to 13 mm Ropes

Designed to offer precise friction control, with a gradual release of friction, the REFLEX combines the familiarity of a hitch cord-controlled descent with the versatility of a mid-line attachable mechanical device. The rope can be inserted into the body and then helically wound around and into (rather than threaded through) each link. The top link is fitted with a latch which keeps the rope securely captivated within the links during use. Whether used in MRT or SRT systems, the links of the REFLEX enable consistent friction control, with or WITHOUT the use of additional frictional hardware. This means that the REFLEX can be used for SRT, WITHOUT a Wrench & Tether! This is ideal for climbers who want to keep their system simple and compact, and enables easy slack payout.
